Jill Hennessy

She is a native Edmontonian with a mix of Irish, Italian and Swedish ancestry, as well as French, Ukrainian French, and Swedish. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Jill was fluent in several languages as she grew up. It include Italian, French, and Spanish. When she was twelve years older, Jill began her journey into acting. When she was in Toronto she started her professional career as an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort with the twins of her. After that, she was studying improv at Second City under Deb Kimmet. She was transferred to New York two years later and was offered a contract to as the an Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit long-running series Law & Order. In the three years she spent in New York working on film projects that featured feature actors like RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Her work was featured in a couple of forgettable films over the following months, and then landed as the lead in the 1999 miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. In major productions, including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. In 2001, she was offered her first lead role on the crime-themed NBC series Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she was awarded the Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Lead in the drama Series" for her work in the series. Her husband was another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two children together. In 2007 She was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
